Class of Archbishop Fulton Sheen

Applications for the Catechetical Institute are now being taken for the 2-year foundational Pillars Program beginning fall 2026.

The two-year class will be held in person on Monday evenings (7 pm - 9 pm) at St. Bartholomew in Wayzata. (Space is limited, so apply early!)

The course is also available at the following CI Satellite Sites. Students will gather at the parish for in-person small group and watch the lectures via live stream from St. Bartholomew.

Online Application Process

The deadline for applying is extended to August 15, 2026. Space is limited, and classes fill quickly. All components of the application are due at this time.

  • Completed and Signed Online Application 
  • Personal Statement (Uploaded online application)
  • Two short Letters of Recommendation: One from your pastor & one from an additional person. (Pastor letter may be sent to the CI if need be. Additional personal referene must be uploaded online application)
  • $20 Non-refundable application fee, paid online

The cost is $325 per module in person at St. Batholomew in wayzata. There are four modules over the two-year period. The $325 tuition is paid prior to the beginning of each module. (Tuition adjusted for satellite sites is $250 per module, as noted on the application.)
