Applications for the Catechetical Institute are now being taken for the 2-year foundational Pillars Program beginning fall 2024.

The two-year class will be held in person on Monday evenings at St. Pius X in White Bear Lake. (Space is limited, so register early!)

The course is also available at the following CI Satellite Sites. Students will gather at the parish for in-person small group and watch the lectures via live stream from St. Pius X in White Bear Lake.

Online Registration

The deadline for applying is July 31, 2024. Space is limited, and classes fill quickly. All components of the application are due at this time.

  • Personal Statement (Uploaded online application)
  • Two short Letters of Recommendation: One from your pastor & one from an additional person. (Uploaded online application)
  • $20 Non-refundable application fee, paid online

The cost is $315 per module in person at St. Pius X in White Bear Lake. There are four modules over the two-year period. The $315 tuition is paid prior to the beginning of each module. (Tuition adjusted for satellite sites is $225 per module, as noted on the application.)

No class: October 14 (Columbus Day)

Formative Sessions, Saturdays, Oct. 12 & Nov. 16 (8 AM - 11 AM)

 

2025 Spring Schedule 

Mondays, Feb. 3 - May 5 (St. Pius X, White Bear Lake— 7 PM - 9 PM)

No class: March 24 (Spring Break), APril 7 (Lenten Mission)  and April 21 (Easter Monday)

Formative Sessions, Saturdays, March 15 & April 12 (8 AM - 11 AM)
